The Rotary Club of Greater Clark County was chartered by Rotary International on December 28, 1974 and was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Vancouver.  The club is located in Vancouver, Washington which is in Southwest Washington and Rotary District 5100.

Our club is a secular organization that welcomes diversity in our membership with respect to age, gender, religion, race, ethnicity, and profession and our board of directors has endorsed Rotary Internationals Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Members of our club are men and women of all ages and professional backgrounds who come together to provide service in both our local and international communities in a setting of friendship and fellowship.  The membership of our club throughout its fifty year history has been committed to projects that allow for personal service over solely providing financial support to other organizations.  Rotary’s mottos are Service Above Self and One Profits Most Who Serves Best.  The motto’s can be traced back to 1911 when the second Rotary convention was held in Portland, Oregon.  At that convention, the original motto “He Profits Most Who Serves Best” was adopted.
